Last week, Equiport’s long-awaited photo shoot finally took place at an incredible location in the Cheshire countryside. This is something that everyone has been looking forward to and we couldn’t be more in love with the photos. So, here’s a little behind the scenes blog about what we got up to and the incredible human and four-legged models we used.
This shoot was mainly to showcase our gorgeous Equiport custom range including our rugs, saddle cloths and much more! We’ve also included some of our most iconic brands such as Spooks and Alberto Fasciani to give you guys some really inspiring imagery throughout.
Our first model was the beautiful Robyn who currently works in the Equiport boutique. This was Robyn’s first time modelling and we think she did an absolutely unbelievable job! Philippa was our other stunning model, you may recognise her from a previous shoot we did a number of years ago. Both models were wonderful and an absolute pleasure to work with.
For the equine models we were lucky enough to have the honour of using JB’s Hot Horses, two of which are ridden by the legend that is Michael Whitaker! All the horses were impeccably behaved and we can’t thank Jayne, who is a loyal Equiport customer, enough for letting us use her incredible horses. Let’s be honest, who doesn’t want four delightful show jumpers modelling their products?
The first equine model we had the privilege of working with was George, an eye-catching 16.3hh 6-year-old grey gelding. George was an absolute pleasure to work with and he looked so handsome in the Equiport head collars and rugs!
Next up was a real stand out gelding called Wildey, a 16.2hh dapple grey. He was a real professional in front of the camera and did everything we asked of him and more! We don’t think his ears were ever not pricked and he looked incredibly fetching in our Equiport attire.
The next horse to step in front of the camera is extremely well-known on the show jumping circuit – JB’s Hot Stuff, also known as Jazzy. She is an 11-year-old 16.2hh bay mare by the outstanding Locarno 62. Having won the 2017 Antwerpen Grand Prix and the CSI4* Grand Prix at Liverpool International with Michael Whitaker, we couldn’t feel more privileged to be able to work with this incredible mare and have her showcase our Equiport products!
Last but by far means least was the perfect lady whom was JB’s Hot Property; also known as Boots. She is a 12-year-old 16.1hh Bay Mare once again by the exceptional Locarno 62. Boots is also ridden by Michael Whitaker in international show jumping classes and she was a darling to work with on our photo shoot. Nothing was too much to ask for her and she stood still impeccably throughout the shoot – she really was the perfect model.
As you may have already noticed the new images are starting to appear across our Equiport website on a number of different products. We’re going to keep adding new imagery to the website across the next few weeks, so make sure you keep an eye out for them! A lot of time and effort went into making this photo shoot so successful and we hope that you guys love the new images just as much as we do.
