The countdown is on to the much-loved Kelsall Hill Istanbul BBQ British Eventing Official Horse Trials (20th – 22nd April 2018) and we couldn’t be more excited. Once again, Equiport is delighted to provide the Advanced Intermediate winner’s presentation rug at this year’s event, as well as having the wonderful opportunity of sponsoring Friday’s BE90 section. We love getting involved with this event and we can’t wait to see who wins the gorgeous Equiport rug this year!
Kelsall Hill's courses are designed by Captain Mark Phillips and built by David Evans, Mike Pope and their incredible team. All courses include water and benefit from well-built fences and the use of the rising and falling ground. The going is usually good due to the sandy soil, and the course always put on a great show for the riders, as well as the spectators.
As the event is based in a green valley they can offer superb viewing opportunities so that spectators and owners can see the vast majority of the cross country course without moving set against the magnificent backdrop of Delamere forest.

This event is a fabulous opportunity to see some of the Badminton contenders have one of their last runs before the big event – so you definitely don’t want to miss out on the chance to see some of your biggest inspirations take on the beautiful hills of Cheshire.
