The countdown is on to the much-loved Kelsall Hill Protect My Income British Eventing Official Horse Trials (19th – 21st April 2019) and we couldn’t be more excited. Once again, Equiport is thrilled to be providing the Advanced Intermediate winner’s presentation rug at this year’s event, as well as having the wonderful opportunity of sponsoring Friday’s BE90 section. We absolutely love getting involved with this event and we can’t wait to see who wins the beautiful Equiport rug this year!
Kelsall Hill's courses are designed by Captain Mark Phillips and built by Dominic Lawrence, and his amazing team. The team have been busy rebuilding the sunken road, creating a bunch of brand new fences and upgrading their water complex. This year’s route has been changed slightly and includes never seen before fences, across all heights. The going is usually good, due to the sandy soil, and the course always put on a great show for the riders, as well as the spectators.
As the event is based in a green valley they can offer superb viewing opportunities so that spectators and owners can see the vast majority of the cross country course without moving set against the magnificent backdrop of Delamere forest.

This event is a incredible opportunity, to see some of the Badminton contenders, have one of their last runs before the big event – so you definitely don’t want to miss out on the chance to see some of your biggest inspirations take on the beautiful hills of Cheshire.
