The Bombers Dressage Control Plate Loose Ring Snaffle is British Dressage legal.
The central plate is narrower than the one on the Bombers BC45 Control Plate, and thus applies more tongue pressure.
This central control plate is set at a 45 degree angle to follow the contours of the horse's tongue. Consequently, a horse who uses his tongue as a means of pushing against the bit and therefore taking control, will draw back and tuck his chin in, coming back to a better point of control.
The blue sweet iron mouthpiece oxidises easily, creating a warm, sweet taste in the horse's mouth.
This encourages mouthing, salivation and acceptance of the bit.
The loose rings keep the bit mobile in the horse's mouth, allowing an immediate release of pressure when rein aids cease, and encourage the horse to gently mouth the bit.
Please note that the blue will fade with use.
Available in 13cm, 13.5cm, 14cm or 14.5cm mouthpieces. The mouthpiece is 14mm thick.
BD LEGAL BUT NO LONGER FEI LEGAL.
