Equiport Curb Chain Mouth Snaffle

The Curb Chain Mouth Snaffle tends to suit horses that lack space in their mouth, with a large tongue, fleshy lips, or those that put their tongue over the bit. It can be a good option for horses that find solid metal bits too bulky and restrictive, yet don't respond well to the hackamore.

It has a similar action to the waterford mouthpiece, as it bends in every direction and horses can play with the bit, keeping their mouths soft, but they are unable to lean or set on it.

It is important to ensure that the curb chain lies flat on the tongue so the pressure is completely even.

It is recommended that this bit is only used by experienced riders.
