This Nathe bit has a gentle flexible mouthpiece with curved full cheeks, making it suitable for horses with sensitive mouths that need help with steering!

Nathe Straight Bar Mouthpiece

The nathe mouthpiece has been designed for horses with sensitive, fussy or very light mouths. It can also be beneficial for young horses, or to encourage a more sensitive feel when riding.

The nathe material is extremely gentle to the horse's mouth and tongue, and helps to activate salivation and softening to the contact. The mullen mouth ensures that the pressure is evenly distributed throughout the horse's mouth and there is no 'nutcracker' action on the palate or bars.

Not to be confused with cheaper, plastic mouthpieces, Nathe bits are soft and flexible, but not as bulky as rubber. A flexible steel inner core ensures safety.

The delicate nature of the Nathe material can mean that if chewed by the horse it may result in damage to the nathe mouth or in extreme cases breakage.

Full Cheek Snaffle

This bit has full cheeks that are curved at the ends.

The full cheek snaffle is often beneficial for green or young horses as the long, curved cheeks assist with turning by pressing against the horse's face, without any extra pressure on the mouth or poll.

The Nathe Full Cheek Snaffle is available in 13cm (5 1/8in) or 14cm (5 1/2in).

We indicate a typical delivery time for out-of-stock items for UK mainland delivery, however if this will be different we will notify you as soon as possible after receiving your order.

We use a combination of DPD Local, DHL, Royal Mail and UPS to deliver your order. All delivery methods are recorded and trackable for extra security.

Specialist, personalised or made to measure items will be made to order, as will items in your personalised colour schemes. We aim to complete these items as soon as possible, so please contact us on placing your order to be advised of the estimated delivery date.

The cost of your delivery will be indicated when placing your order, starting at £5.95 for small items.
