Kentucky Horsewear Hurricane Turnout Neck Cover 0g - Navy

Give your horse even more protection against the elements with the Kentucky Hurricane 0g Neck Cover, with a super-soft faux fur lining.

Designed to be used in combination with the Kentucky Hurricane Turnout Rug, this neck cover has a 100% waterproof and windproof outer coating for the ultimate in weather protection.

This PU coating is applied on the outside of the neck cover, and is currently unique in the equestrian market. It is very similar to the coating used on traditional fisherman's jackets, and is designed to stay fully waterproof without the need for reproofing. It also helps to ensure the durability of the cover.

The inside of the neck cover is lined with Kentucky's famous artificial rabbit fur, which protects the mane, offers extra warmth and is soft against the skin, making it ideal for sensitive horses.

The neck has four strong hook and loop closures to secure it to the turnout rug. These are situated on the inside of the neckpiece so there is no gap between the rug and the neck and thus no risk of water getting through.

The front of the neck cover has two further sturdy hook and loop fastenings with brown artificial leather patches for a classic appearance.

When the neck cover becomes muddy, you can simply hose it off. For a deeper clean, it can be machine washed at 30 degrees. Kentucky advise then allowing it to air dry. Washing does not damage the waterproof coating so reproofing is not required.

The Kentucky Hurricane Neck Cover 0g is available in Navy, in sizes M (5ft 9in to 6ft 3in), L (6ft 6in to 6ft 9in) or XL (7ft).
