Kentucky Horsewear Waterproof Bib - Black

Protect your horse from rug rubs, even in the field on rainy days, with the Kentucky Waterproof Bib, which has faux rabbit fur on the inside.

Designed to protect your horse's shoulders or withers from the chafing that can be caused by wet rugs, the bib works to equalise pressure on the horse's skin by holding the rug away from sensitive areas.

It can be used in combination with all kinds of rug.

The outer fabric is 100% peached polyester with a waterproof coating to protect it from the rain, while the flap that is in direct contact with the horse's skin is lined with soft artificial rabbit fur for supreme comfort and prevention of rubs.

The bib consists of two flaps, which are put over the front of the rug where the chest closures sit. The fake rabbit fur flap goes on the inside of the rug, directly against the horse's chest, and the other flap hangs on the outside of the rug to keep the bib in place.

Both edges of the bib have notches to ensure it stays in place.

The bib can also be used in the same way over the horse's withers.

Machine washable at 30 degrees, then allow to dry naturally. The use of a fluor carbon treatment is advised after five washes to maintain the water repellancy.

The Kentucky Waterproof Bib is available in Black or Navy, one size only.
