The Kentucky Horsewear Quarter Guard is designed to protect your horse’s hindquarters during travel, making it a useful addition to your horsebox or trailer kit.
It is particularly suitable for sensitive-skinned horses who are prone to rubbing, with full coverage and cushioning to help protect against minor scratches and bruising.
A shock-absorbing foam layer sits against the horse, helping to cushion the quarters against knocks during transport while keeping the guard lightweight and comfortable.
The flexible construction follows the shape of the hindquarters, allowing your horse to move naturally while providing coverage across the areas most exposed to contact.
The outer layer is made from a tough synthetic fabric that is resistant to abrasion and built to withstand regular use.
Adjustable Velcro straps allow you to create a secure, close-fitting fit for your horse, while the smooth outer surface can be wiped clean after use. For deeper cleaning, the Quarter Guard is also machine washable.
Pair it with a Kentucky Horsewear Tail Guard for more comprehensive protection around the hindquarters and tail during travel.
